Joachim Montbord (FR) - Man Encantada Solo

Joachim Montbord is known to us as the frontman of Man Encantada, but internationally already many years a renowned artist, having played in multiple projects as well as being a great dance teacher. Joachim is originally a ballroom musician, but came into contact with melodies from Gacony - his home region - in the course of his musical career. He has learned to play these traditional tunes, as well as dance to them, which makes his music very danceable. In this solo project, he is a true multi-instrumentalist, playing the strings, drums, bells and singing with his wonderful voice, Gasconian songs in Occitan, all the same time. He sets poems and traditional texts from the South-West of France to music, sings about (forgotten) lores and puts a spell on the dancers! His energetic rhythms are very catchy and guarantee a great ball!
